Dr Ledivia Strauss

Dr Ledivia Strauss is a general practitioner with a special interest in aesthetic medicine. Growing up in Keimoes in the Northern Cape, her passion for health and urge to improve the quality of life of those in need lead to her obtaining her MBChB (Medical) degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2004. She initially had an interest in anaesthesiology and after completing her post graduate diploma in anaesthesiology in 2007, her life took an unexpected turn when she moved to France with her husband who was a professional rugby player at the time.

After working in different health sectors in France and obtaining her two year post graduate diploma in Mesotherapy at the University of Bordeaux, she saw the ever-lasting need for women to become healthy from the inside out. Being a very unpretentious woman always focussing on simplicity, Dr Ledivia Strauss realised after attending an aesthetic seminar in Monaco, that there is a misperception regarding aesthetic medicine amongst women. The power it entails to have a positive influence on a woman’s life, health and self-esteem is undeniable.

They lived in France for 7 years where her daughter was born in 2011, her love for holistic women’s health grew with her love for the French culture and country side. In her free time, Dr Strauss leads a very balanced lifestyle. She loves French cooking, trail running and spending quality time with her beautiful family. Having dual citizenship, South African as well as French, Dr Strauss is fluent in French and ever grateful for the various opportunities France offered her.

Living abroad, Dr Ledivia Strauss attended numerous international congresses, workshops and trainings in aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine all over the world.

After recently completing her two year post graduate Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, her studying continues as she strives to keep up to date with this ever-evolving field of medicine.

Dr Rolene Strauss

Raised in a small town called Volksrust in South Africa, Rolene Strauss stays true to her roots. She thanks her family for playing an enormous role in who she is today. Her passion for health, education and women are at the core of her being and motivates her to live a purpose driven life.

Rolene's balanced lifestyle and interests in health, education, business and charity is part of her motivation to create a brand of value.

Rolene knew that for her to obtain the ability to reach her goals and become a role model, she had to lead a balanced life. With an interest in academics, sport and leadership since a young age she has always been determined to do her best in everything she puts her mind to.

Through various experiences as a young model abroad, Rolene came to the realisation that her true pursuit in life is to become a role model through the various aspects of her life, from health, medicine, entrepreneurship and motherhood to Miss South Africa and Miss World.

During Rolene’s medical studies, she had the opportunity to take part in the Miss South Africa contest, this was the perfect opportunity to become a role model and give back on a much greater scale. Rolene achieved her goal and became Miss South Africa in 2014, she also went on to represent her beautiful country internationally and was crowned Miss World 2014.

Family is an integral part of Rolene’s life, she married D'Niel Strauss in February 2016, gave birth to their son in January 2017 and together with their families (Dr Ledivia Strauss included) the Strauss couple launched The Strauss Foundation of which Rolene is the Chairperson.

The Strauss Foundation is a Non-Profit Entity with the aim to be a positive contributor in society through the promotion of Health, Education and Charity. It aims to unlock inherent abilities of as many individuals as possible.

Rolene obtained her MBChB (medical) degree from the University of the Free State on 7 December 2017 and her husband’s love for business and entrepreneurship opened up a whole new world for Rolene; the world of business. Her next goal is to obtain an MBA degree as Rolene is putting on the entrepreneurship ‘cap’ when it comes to her involvement in RevitaHealth. Rolene will not be clinically involved and her focus in Revitahealth will be as entrepreneur and acting ambassador for holistic and preventative women’s health through public advocacy and the Revitahealth Women Summits.

If Rolene lives the message of a balanced lifestyle, the importance of holistic health and prevention rather than cure, she considers herself as someone who is living her purpose.
